Hot Lunch Update

Hello SREC Community,
Out of courtesy, I wanted to let everyone know that we will go back to the original LIttle Ceasar's pizza for Tuesday hot lunch. We gave Mary's pizza a chance but could not financially sustain the shift in pizza vendors. Also, juice will no longer be served with lunch, water will be the only drink option. I appreciate all the help and support during this chaotic trial period!
The Friday hot lunch will continue to alternate between burritos, pasta, and chinese.
While I would love to offer only local, organic options, we have limits regarding the preparations, cost effectiveness, and serving of the food.
I am always open to suggestions for healthier options for our kids. The lunch committee has agreed to facilitate the day to day functions of managing hot lunch, not to manage the input and concerns from parents. The lunch committee has been feeling a little overwhelmed. I am in charge of fundraising, which includes the hot lunch service.
