Important eScrip Update

A Big thank you to all the families who have signed up to collect receipts for the eScrip redemption. We have raised close to $600 so far and we will be in front of Safeway on Yulupa next Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm. I have extended the time frame to raise more money. Please sign up in the front office or email me and I will put you down. If you are available on a different day please let me know and I will make arrangements to get you some time in front of a Safeway to collect receipts.
It's important for families to understand you can collect receipts anytime from now until October 13th. You don't have to wait until next weekend. If you're shopping in your local Safeway feel free to ask customers if they would be willing to donate the bottom portion of the receipt where it reads "10% Back to Schools" there is a long code printed there. This is the code we need to enter in to the system to generate money for our school. The more individual codes we get the more money we raise. If there is no code just thank them and ask another customer. Not every receipt will have a code because you have to renew or be signed up on www.eScrip.com to participate in the program and some customers are already giving to other schools.
Another way to collect receipts is to grab them out of shopping carts and waste bins. Often at Marlow Safeway the waste bin by the self checkout is overflowing with receipts. I wear gloves or have hand sanitizer handy and grab up all the receipts I see. This is not for everyone, but it is a way to get more of those eScrip dollars sitting there unused coming to our school.
Drop ALL your receipts in the big purple tube that's in the front office and I will collect them. Thanks again for all your fabulous support!!
